Why Am I Qualified To Do This Work?

I spent many years as a Social worker undertaking mostly Child Protection and Adult Mental Health work. I have had experience as a Drug and Alcohol worker and I was an Advocate for Children and Young People with a diagnosis of Asperger’s and Autism. All of these roles highlighted the need for therapeutic support and I felt so passionate about it that I retrained to be a Psychotherapeutic Therapist and Coach. 

Having had trauma and stress within my own life I found learning the theory of the Mind and body very useful to understand myself. I also found Reiki treatments healed the somatic trauma within my body and until then I did not understand that we are Energy. Therefore, I trained to be a Reiki Master to understand these teachings further. I now teach others about the Mind Body and Energetic Body to enable them to heal too. Additionally, I am a Coach for Rock 2 Recovery, whose mission is to save and change the lives of those of our Armed Forces, the Veteran Community and their families affected by stress and trauma.

I left school at 13 with no qualifications.

I have always felt there was something guiding me at each difficult turn of life and then I discovered I was Energy and connected with the Universe, that’s when life changed for me.

I ride motorbikes, I’m a Petrol Head, and I adore the outdoors and the stillness within Nature just as much as speed. I prefer to live on a Boat, in a Caravan or Campervan over houses, as it allows more time for self-nurture, fun and adventure, which heals and rebalances the meatsuit.
